BLK JKS
BLK JKS will play the Freebutt in Brighton this Saturday May 2 and then Bardens Boudoir in London next Wednesday May 6.
Theoretical Girl
The awesome Theoretical Girl will be releasing a new single on the 1st of June called 'Rivals' and will be playing the following shows:

Camp Bestival
Kid Creole & The Coconuts have been added to the Camp Bestival (24-26th of July) lineup. They'll sit nicely against Bon Iver, PJ Harvey and Phoenix.
Benicassim Festival
Pete Dohery has been added to the Benicassim lineup! Other acts include Oasis, The Horrors and Gang of Four.
Field Day Festival
The following bands have been added to this years Field Day Festival (1st of August) lineup:
Micachu & The Shapes, The Big Pink, Audion, The XX, The Temper Trap, Rusko and Plugs.
Offset Festival
After launching to critical acclaim in 2008, Offset Festival returns to the beautiful Hainault Forest Country Park - just 30 minutes from London by tube - on September 5-6th 2009.
The following bands have been added to the lineup:

Yo Jake, where your review at, i'm curious! I think for me what made it stretch to 9/10 was teh fact it's really accessible and just occupies it's own little niche so well right now, I really can't think of a band with another recent release that I could compare them adequately to. Anyway, glad you liked it! [view article]

All three are worth a listen to be fair. I wouldn't have stretched quite as far as 9/10 (in fact, I didn't when I reviewed it elsewhere), but it is very good. Dusty Fruit is probably my favourite track (the early version of it, "Don't Trust the Dusty Fruit", is also very good!). [view article]
