The 405 are pleased to announce that we've teamed up with the lovely people over at Lomography to present you with an amazing competition!
Rather than writing paragraph after paragraph about how good the competition is and what it entails, we've decided to give it to you in our favourite way. Numbered lists!

1. Every month for the next 3 months (Oct/Nov/Dec) we'll be posting a theme (this month being Nightmares)
2. You send us your (must be original) photo's, with that theme in mind.
3. At the end of the month The 405 team pick their favourite and they win one of these:

4. At the beginning of January (when we have 3 winners) we'll be handing the winners a special competition that will see them use their prize (Diana Mini) to create a photo set for us.
5. The 405 team will pick the best set and they'll have their work exhibited by us and will win the following:

6. Yes, The Diana mini's mum (Diana F+) will be sent to the winner!
So that's the backbone of the competition dealt with. What about October then?

We want you to take photo's that fall under the theme of Nightmare(s). Be as creative as you possibly can!
Send your photo's to thefouroh5@gmail.com
The competition ends on the 24th of October and the winner will be announced shortly after.

Schadenfreude. I think you've pretty much covered it in the last paragraph: when we're down, we search for culture which empathises; when we're up, we search for culture which makes us see the value and worth of our current 'positive' situation. Not everyone though: some people detest dark comedy, cynical people and skeptical views. [view article]
