Adele, James Bay and Years and Years lead 2016 BRIT Awards nominations
Adele, James Bay and Years & Years lead the nominations for this year's BRIT Awards (which take place at London's O2 Arena on February 24th) with four nods each. Both Adele's and James Bay's albums are running for MasterCard British Album of the Year, as are the latest releases from Coldplay, Florence + The Machine, and Jamie xx; Adele and Coldplay will also be performing.
Other British nominees include Aphex Twin, Blur, Foals, Amy Winehouse, Mark Ronson, and Sam Smith, while Drake, Björk, Tame Impala, Lana Del Rey, Eagles of Death Metal, Father John Misty, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar, and Courtney Barnett are some of the international artists who are up for at least one award.
