Drake and Kendrick Lamar were both presented with the keys to their city
Drake was given the key to Toronto, while Kendrick Lamar was presented with the key to Compton, both in the same week. Drake rapped about getting the key to The Six in his new beef-resurfacing single 'Summer Sixteen,' and he finally got his wish after Toronto Mayor John Tory handed it over, ahead of coaching Team Canada to a victory against Team USA at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Friday.
Around the same time, Kendrick was awarded the key to the city of Compton from Mayor Aja Brown, who quoted 'Alright' during her introductory speech and playfully stated that Compton's key is "better than Drake's key."
