LCD Soundsystem announce surprise NYC shows this weekend
You would have to be hiding under a rock not to know that LCD Soundsystem are reuniting this year and are headlining just about every major festival. But while the band's first show since their 2011 Madison Square Garden farewell was supposed to be at Coachella this spring, the band has announced that they will be playing a bunch of small-venue hometown shows this Sunday and Monday in New York. The Webster Hall shows are sponsored by Panorama, the new NYC fest from the makers of Coachella and one of the many events LCD is headlining. LCD will of course, return to NYC to headline the Panorama Festival in July.
