405 Gig Guide: 3rd - 9th December 2012
This week's gig guide features the likes of Lower Dens, Flutes, Sharon Van Etten & many more.
Lower Dens: The Haunt, Brighton 09/12/12
Lower Dens' latest Nootropics LP sees Jana Hunter's vocals nestled amongst a collision of motorik rhythms, swirling guitars and robotic analogue synth. The album heralds a definite sonic step forward for the Baltimore quintet which promises to translate into a captivating live show. Catch Lower Dens at The Haunt on Sunday.

Sharon Van Etten: O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire, London 03/012/12
Sharon Van Etten released one of the best albums of the year in Tramp, and we have a feeling she might use this show as a celebration of that fact. Not to be missed.

Jessie Ware + Faye: Berns, Stockholm 3/12/12
Jessie Ware'ss brilliant debut record Devotion has gotten a lot of attention this year, and deservedly so. This gig was originally scheduled for October but after a slight delay Ware is coming to Sweden. Not only is Ware playing but we’ve got a fantastic double-bill as the support act for the evening is Stockholm's own pop queen Faye.

Get Cape Wear Cape Fly: The Wardrobe, Leeds 29/11/12
Following the release of his 4th album Maps, (dare I say it) 'electroacoustic' singer-songwriter Sam Duckworth, better known as Get Cape Wear Cape Fly will play at The Wardrobe on 7th December. Expect his usual greatness, he's far from just another man with a guitar and a laptop.
