405tv Session: Mausi - 'Move'
The Newcastle-based four-piece Mausi we described last year in the following terms: "When the sun finally expires Mausi will be an archive to remind our great great grandchildren what summer was really like."
This was even before ridiculously infectious and wildly ebullient gem 'Move' existed that has taken this good-time summer vibe to a new head-popping level - check it out for yourself here. So we got together with them and created this stripped down session of the track under projector light, that takes it into a more tender, reflective world and gifting the song a new lease of life.
'Move' is out on March 4th via the Loose Lips label, fast becoming a home for some of our favoutite acts.

We're pretty certain that Mausi, the fresh-faced pop foursome from Milan via, erm, Newcastle, are going to be huge. So, if you're curious to hear what inspired Mausi to mash up Solange's 'Losing You' with 'Say My Name' with beautifully subtle results - well, read on. [read more]
The release consists of lead track 'Body Language' (whose video premiered last week), the band's mash-up of Solange and Destiny's Child, original track 'Somewhere', and a cover of the Stardust classic 'Music Sounds Better With You'. [read more]
