CHAMPS - 'St. Peters' [405 Premiere]
Hailing from the Isle of Wight, you may not have heard of CHAMPS yet, but after you listen to their latest song, the beautiful 'St. Peters', you'll never forget them.
It may seem like an exaggeration at first but I'm ready to go on hand by saying this is one of the best songs of 2012. Absolutely fantastic, building, amazing. You can hear it below (and replay it as well) and look out for the band's debut 7'', expected to be released on the 24th of September (you can pre-order the 7'' here).

Beginning with reverbing clicks and soft, intergalactic synth, the track samples Justin Timberlake's vocals from 'Until The End Of Time', which seem to echo off into a distant backdrop of heart-shaped nebulae and flickering star clusters. The beat approaches you with all its rolling hi-hat goodness, oscillating betweeen cymbal-supported snares and groups of bouncy kick, underpinning it all with a glossy surge of sub-bass. [read more]
