I can say emphatically that Parks, Squares and Alleys are my favourite Russian band. While this is as much a compliment to the band's music as it is an indicator of my ignorance of Russian music, singer-songwriter Sergei Khavro has crafted an infectious dream pop sound that is swimming in lush reverb and smooth melodies. With any luck Parks, Squares and Alleys' should help to firmly put Russia on the musical map – and no Pussy Riot don't count.

Beginning with reverbing clicks and soft, intergalactic synth, the track samples Justin Timberlake's vocals from 'Until The End Of Time', which seem to echo off into a distant backdrop of heart-shaped nebulae and flickering star clusters.
