Frank Ocean, Diplo, and The Clash team up for 'Hero'
Converse's Three Artists, One Song series is self-explanatory; three artists from all different walks are brought together to record one song together. It may sound like some crazy social experiment but it's turned out some pretty interesting collaborations so far.
This time there's four artists, but two of them used to be in The Clash so the name still works, plus you can sort of call it a reunion. Mick Jones and Paul Simonon will team with Frank Ocean and Diplo to record a song called 'Hero'. The collaboration clearly means a lot to Diplo who had this to say:
"The Clash were always teachers to me, even before I shared a studio with Paul and Mick. Their musical anarchy and constant attitude to disregard rules and forge their own path was inspirational to me. They meant death to genres, music and message above everything. Frank lives by the same creed in being married to his vision and seeing it through at any cost. We had to challenge each other to make something that we hope no one could expect and Converse valued everyone's artistic freedom to let us shine throughout the past few months to make this thing happen."

So, in 2012, Grimes, Diplo, and Skrillex are going to travel across Canada, on a train, to celebrate the summer on a tour dubbed 'The Full Flex Express'. [read more]
