One of the many side-projects from the members of Deerhunter, Lotus Plaza (Lockett Pundt) released their second album earlier today, Spooky Action at a Distance. And while a lot of the attention goes to frontman Bradford Cox, Pundt’s work is stellar in its own right

The album’s lead single 'Monoliths' captures what many Deerhunter fans find so endearing: distilled, beautiful garage rock without the messy pomp but still unrefined. You can listening to the excellent single below.
