Music from Pavement's first live performance surfaces
Whereas these days Steven Malkmus is making a name for himself within his new outfit, Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks, you may also recall he was in a band by the name of Pavement, forming towards the rear end of the 80s. Some of their earliest recordings, 'Home', and, 'Mellow Jazz Docent', were recorded for a Californian radio station, KDVS, and seem to be gaining attention online, having been originally uploaded almost a year ago.
