New indie supergroup Divine Fits is born
Today is a good day for those of you with a bit of an interest in indie supergroups, so to speak, as Britt Daniel of Spoon, Dan Boeckner of Wolf Parade and Handsome Furs fame as well as New Bomb Turks' Sam Brown have formed a new band.
They're called Divine Fits, and while there aren't any tracks to have a listen to just yet, Consequence of Sound reports that an as yet untitled debut album - produced by Nick Launay - is due for release via Merge later this year.

Times New Viking have announced they've signed to Merge/Wichita and will releasing their forthcoming record, Dancer Equired, on April 25th. The band have also unveiled the video for album track 'No Room To Live' and announced a number of appearances at this year's SXSW including the Merge label showcase (full schedule for TNV vs SXSW will be announced shortly).
