Plastic Platform C31: Lovelier Other
The somewhat mysterious Lovelier Other released a debut track last last year, 'Leave This Behind', that seemed to effectively fall from the sky.
Such was its quality we asked them immediately to create a mix for us, and here we present you with our first Plastic Platform mix of the year - in fact the series is now one year old. Celebrate with a selection of tracks new and old.

Rob Glover is one-half of the British-based act and recently began his own side-project, Field Harmonics. On offer is a marked departure, choosing to focus on on a more poppier sound utilising a while array of electronics in the process - as seen in debut LP Walls. We first became aware of his work via 'Everyone' that we subsequently made Track Of The Week in our New Music Friday segment - and loved it so much we asked Rob to create this very mix for us. This is a mix of some of my favorite new music, and some older tracks that inspired me to create Luminary Youth. Phaseone and Afta-1 are some of my favorite producers that really moved me back in 2009, and artists like Clams Casino, Shlohmo, Tokimonsta, and Mux Mool are also some older favorites that have seen success lately and are steadily growing their fan-bases today.
