Prince unveils new track, 'Ain't Gonna Miss U When U're Gone'
Prince has slowly been releasing track after track this year, as well as possibly hinting at the follow up to 20Ten which was released in copies of The Daily Mirror for free (which is always a great sign). Luckily, these new tracks including 'Screwdriver' and 'FIXURLIFEUP' have at least been more interesting than something that has to be chucked on the cover of a tabloid newspaper.
Last night, Prince released another new song on his website, 3rdeyegirl, for download. Entitled 'Ain't Gonna Miss U When U're Gone' (clearly not a fan of the letter 'y'), it's a six minute jam featuring the Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Ledisi. We still don’t really know if any of these tracks are to be a part of this new album, rumoured to be called Plectrum Electrum, or whether he's just releasing new tracks for kicks. Only time will tell, really, as we get wrapped up in the mystery that is Prince.
