Jay Z's Roc Nation signs Theo and Sasha Spielberg
Update: According to reports, the duo signed with Roc Nation a year ago. So there we have it!
Jay Z's label Roc Nation has just signed Wardell for management, reports hollywoodreporter.com. Sasha and Theo Spielberg (23 and 25 years old respectively) are already signed through UK label National Anthem, with their debut album arriving at some point next year.
The Los Angeles-based pop duo are already famous for sharing famous director Steven Spielberg as their father, but have been slowly making a path for themselves in the music business; earlier this year released the Brother/Sister EP and are already in-demand DJs. In addition to her music career, Shasha has also sold the pilot of a new series, Girls Without Boys, to ABC.
