Steve Reich to perform Radiohead inspired piece
According to reports legendary minimalist composer Steve Reich will premiere a new piece next year at London's Southbank Centre, based on two Radiohead songs.
The new work, entitled Radiohead Rewrite, will be based on ‘Everything in its Right Place’, from Radiohead’s classic 2000 release, Kid A, as well as ‘Jigsaw Falling Into Place’ from In Rainbows.
The piece - which came about after Reich met the band at a music festival in Poland last year - will premier on March 5th 2013 and will be performed by 13 musicians from the London Sinfonietta.

Radiohead's Colin Greenwood voiced his support of the Professional Music Technology record store in Oxford that was set to be turned into a restaurant/cafe. The local city council then held a unanimous vote to deny the application for the store's closure. [read more]
