The Postal Service announce UK/EU dates
The Postal Service, who recently revealed they'd be releasing a Deluxe 10th anniversary edition of Give Up on April 8th via Sub Pop, have announced they'll be heading to the UK/EU this May.
The dates are as follows:
- 18/05/13 Sat - Manchester UK @ Academy 2
- 20/05/13 Mon - London UK @ Brixton Academy
- 21/05/13 Tues - Paris FR @ Trianon
- 23/05/13 Thu - Barcelona SP @ Primavera Sound 2013
Tickets are on sale now from here. The duo (Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello) will be joned by Jenny Lewis and Laura Burhenn.

They had a hard time booking shows for their one and only tour, with promoters flummoxed by just what it was they were buying into, and whilst the venues kept getting bigger over the course of the run, it wasn't until after they'd returned to their primary projects that Give Up really took on a life of its own. The Postal Service have come out with a new track ahead of the re-release of their only album to date, Give-Up. The deluxe 10th anniversary edition will include two new tracks - 'Turn Around', and this, 'A Tattered Line of String' as well as remixes and covers of the original tracks. The song sees the group veering into slightly more bouncy, hyperactive and sickly sweet territory compared to the original release. [read more]
