Baauer's 'Harlem Shake' has been the cultural phenomenon as of late, with literally thousands of re-enactments on Youtube. The latest victim of this madness is none other than Azealia Banks, but she's not putting out another dance video filled with Hulk hands and Furby costumes. Taking the challenge of rapping on a vocal-less head-smashing beat, her speedy wordplay fits right in to the craziness at hand. Listen and download below.
Perhaps the most covered/remixed of recent times has been given a fresh new perspective this morning from Smims&Belle (aka Foster The People), which features Azealia Banks. The remix isn't particularly groundbreaking, but that Banks verse at 1:20 works really well with the manic production. It's unfortunate that the rest of the remix lacks the same level of energy as the 1:20-2:50 section, because this could've been pretty special. [read more]
