Barbican announces Spring Contemporary Music 2012 (feat. Sufjan Stevens)
Featuring everything from premieres, orchestral residences and exciting (and we really do mean exciting) collaborations, the Barbican has announced one hell of a schedule for next Spring. A particular highlight for us will be a series focusing on New Yorks innovative music scene, with the city’s Philharmonic Orchestra first international residency and boasting the exciting collaboration of some of the Big Apple’s greatest creative minds; Nico Muhly, Bryce Dessner and (wait for it) Sufjan Stevens.
