Black Lips - 'Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys' (Record Store Day Cover)

by Christian K. Breedlove (Google+), 02 April 2013

On April 20th, Record Store Day will take place and a new addition to the great vinyl you will be able to pick up is a split 7'' between Black Lips and Icky Blossoms. Today, we've got both of the contributions with the Lips' choice being an odd but satisfying choice.

Black Lips covered Waylon & Willie Jennings classic track 'Mammas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys' and you can hear it below. Be sure to listen to Icky Blossoms' cover of Siouxsie and the Banshees 'Arabian Knights' too. [via Pitchfork]
