Daniel Johnston announces new comic and album

by The 405 News Team, 09 March 2012

The legendary Daniel Johnston has announced he'll be releasing a new comic book next week at SXSW.

On March 13th Space Ducks: An Infinite Comic Book Of Musical Greatness will be launched at SXSW alongside a show and invite-only launch party, which he'll be performing at. Built to Spill, Jeffrey Lewis and Kimya Dawson will also play the event.

An iOS app will also be released alongside the comic book, and will contain an album of Johnston’s material. So if you're heading to Austin next week, we suggest you find a way to attend the event.
