Daughn Gibson announces new album, listen to 'The Sound of Law'

by Puja Maniar, 18 April 2013

Following the release of his 2012 debut, All Hell, the dangerously deep-voiced Daughn Gibson is back with a new album entitled Me Moan.

From the LP comes 'The Sound of Law', in which the Pennsylvanian's modulated baritone lurches over a frantic, pulsating drumbeat. For nearly three minutes, it's as though you're being chased through the woods by a beast that's just devoured the bones of Scott Walker and Nick Cave.

Me Moan comes out on July 9th, via Sub Pop, coinciding with Gibson's extensive summer tour of Europe and the US. [via Pitchfork]
