Destiny's Child - 'BLLS, BLLS, BLLS' (BrianFolk Remix) [Track of the Day]
Someone's been keeping themselves busy recently. Hot on the heels of his Everything EP, released at the start of the month, Brian Caldwell (aka BrianFolk aka F.olk - so many aliases!) has released his second remix of the month, turning his hand to the Destiny's Child track 'Bills, Bills, Bills', going ALLCAPS, dropping the vowels and completely transforming it, adding some hefty bass and a distinctive trap feel, as well as some fluttering synth lines to make the 14-year-old song sound completely fresh. Taking on something like that is always a big ask, but Caldwell's done a great job here. Grab yourself a free download of it below.

There's a whole lot going on Mesita's new single 'XYXY'. Mesita, aka Colorado musician James Cooley, manages to fuse driving drum loops, aggressive bass synths, bold melodious vocal hooks and the sensitive subject matter of growing up as a closeted homosexual.
