Eminem sues Facebook
Facebook is finding itself at the wrong end of a lawsuit from Eminem. The rapper's publishing company, Eight Mile Style LLC is alleging unlawful use of the D12 collaboration, Under The Influence.
The lawsuit states that Facebook posted an advert promoting their new Home app which used the tune. An edited version of the advert later appeared without the track, this is being cited as Facebook’s acknowledgement of the unapproved use of the track.
Tellingly, it would appear that Facebook reached out to Dr. Dre for permission to use the track despite the producer having nothing to do with the track. So, what does this tell us? Facebook isn’t as hip as it would like to think it is. I bet Zuckerberg is wearing sandals as socks as you read this.

Writer-producer Aaron Sorkin (pictured above) creator of "The West Wing," is about to get a whole lot of friends on Facebook.
