Foxygen announce UK tour
Foxygen have announced they'll be heading back to the UK this June.
The band, who recently released We Are The 21st Century Ambassadors Of Peace & Magic, will play the following shows:
- 3rd June - Stereo, Glasgow
- 4th June - The Cluny, Newcastle
- 5th June - Deaf Institute, Manchester
- 6th June - Scala, London
- 7th June - Green Door Store, Brighton

Foxygen are having a rather tumultuous Summer, and not in a good way; after vocalist Sam France having fell on stage last July during a concert in Minneapolis, the band was forced to cancel following gigs until further news regarding his medical condition were released: "Sam is OK - he might have broken his leg. It's no surprise that Foxygen are a pretty dysfunctional band. Not quite in the whole "Everyone sleeping together, probably with lots of narcotics involved, so no-one wants to talk to one another" dysfunctional synonymous with Fleetwood Mac but definitely in a "no-one here is friends, we’re just all in a contract" kind of way.
