Kanye West to perform on SNL this May
After reportedly spending the last few months in Paris writing material for his sixth solo album (which may or may not be called I am a God), Kanye West looks set to make a return to American TV sets as a reported musical guest on the 18th May edition of Saturday Night Live.
If the rumours are true, it is likely that this may be the stage for an exclusive showcase of his most recent material, similar to when he last appeared on SNL back in 2010 in the month preceding the release of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
Kanye West is perhaps the most polarising musician in the industry. His off-stage antics – calling George W. Bush racist, frequent paparazzi bust-ups and the whole Taylor Swift thing, among countless others – have landed him hot water on many occasions.
