Katy B - 'My Love' (Kele Le Roc cover) [Listen]
Stopping at BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge earlier today, South London pop-R&B soul singer Katy B brought over a few tracks from her 2012 Danger EP. Included in the cuts were the title track and a song named for one of her personal icons, ‘Aaliyah'.
Additionally, Katy performed ‘My Love’, a cover of the song by other 90's R&B icon Kele Le Roc. The track, which you can see performed live below, was featured on Le Roc’s lone LP, 1999’s Wild Card and was her most successful hit.
With her highly anticipated sophomore album Little Red being released in less than a month (and single 'Crying For No Reason' coming out on the 27th), Katy B has been receiving a high amount of airplay since her '5 AM' single came out late last year, making her one of the definitive artists to watch in 2014.
