List of the best selling vinyl records of the last 20 years released

by Tarynn Law (Google+), 11 November 2013

The numbers are in, and the official charts company has given us a list of the 20 best selling vinyl records of the last 20 years. Almost half the list is from 1994, with only one release being from the last ten years - Radiohead's The King of Limbs, which is at number 5.

Vinyl sales are at a 12 year high, and Daft Punk's latest album Random Access Memories has certainly helped those numbers - it's Amazon's highest selling vinyl in the company's 14 year history. However, they've still got some catching up to do, as their sales don't even scratch the top 20. Check out the list below.

  • 20. The Beatles – Anthology 1 (1995)
  • 19. DJ Shadow – Endtroducing (1999)
  • 18. Oasis – Be Here Now (1997)
  • 17. Pulp – Different Class (1995)
  • 16. Neil Young – Harvest (1972)
