Listen: Fionn Regan - 'For A Nightingale'

by The 405 (Google+), 29 July 2011

'For A Nightingale' is the first cut from Fionn Regan's forthcoming album, 100 Acres of Sycamore, which comes out on August 15th through Heavenly Recordings.

Regan has been on a bumpy road of musical discovery over the past few years, but it's nice to him firmly back in the folk camp with this track. Hopefully the album will be more of the same, with a few tracks stripped back to just acoustic/voice.

Nice to have you back.

So the explosions have died down after fireworks night, today is especially grey and bleak and i'm still a little sleepy from staying up til 2:30am writing a proposal for my art project. But I felt nostalgic so i'm gladly sharing with you all fifteen songs from some of my favourite mixtapes made for me by some of my favourite people - namely friends. I'm aware that was poorly worded but we can ignore that can't we? Lovely. So what we have here is fifteen songs I wouldn't have hear... (continued) [read more]
