Listen to CocoRosie's new track, 'After The Afterlife'
The endlessly perplexing and curiously weird sister duo CocoRosie have been busy in recent months, staging operas, performing choreography, and even gathering work on a new version of Peter Pan. Not stopping there, the Bianca and Sierra Cassidy have yet another new album on the way this May.
Tales Of A Grasswidow will be the duo's fifth studio album since the striking and adventurous La maison de mon rêve via City Slag Records. Featured on the upcoming album will be 'After The Afterlife', which combines lofty pianos, jittery vocal loops, composite beats, and Bjórk-like sensibilities. In other words, pure CocoRosie.
Check out the new track below and grab Tales Of A Grasswidow May 27th.

These oblique and unearthly visuals bring to mind Fever Ray's videos for 'Seven' and 'If I Had a Heart', also Terry Gilliam's surreal and controversial adaptation of Tideland. Enjoy. [read more]
