Mazes - 'Summer Tour Mix 2012' [Listen]

by Christian K. Breedlove (Google+), 13 July 2012

London based band Mazes have exclusively released a brilliant Summer Mixtape of sorts to The 405, a special collection that has a few choices by each band member, picked while on the road touring. Below is a quote from Jack, a member of the band.

"It's been a while since we've been on tour so we made a mixtape to soundtrack our journey around the country, the highs, the lows, the horror. Each of us picked 6 songs and it turned out to be a fair representation of the record we've just made. Who would have thought it?"

The Mazes Summer Tour Mix 2012 is a great way to spend a summer day, it's brimming with sunny tracks, gleaming the way that only a mixtape this time of the year can. Be sure to listen to it below and check out the tracklist as well. Also, why not look at the band's upcoming tour dates as well?

Forming back in 2009, Mazes have certainly achieved a lot within such a short period of time. Their latest triumph includes signing to FatCat Records, which is a pretty damn good as far as we're concerned. Today Jack Cooper from the band gets the 'Artist Picks' treatment. Name: Jack Cooper from Mazes About us: 75% of Mazes lives in London, 50% of us are from the UK, 25% are from the USA and the remaining 25% are from New Zealand...there are 4 of us.
