New LCD Soundsystem book to be released
If you're a fan of LCD Soundsystem then you probably have the t-shirt, you most likely went to see the movie, and if you were lucky you saw a show, but now you can own the book. 'LCD' is a collection of photographs (like the one above) taken by Ruvan Wijesooriya over their hugely successful career.
"All of Ruvan's pictures remind me of that feeling: that you're geographically fucked, and its all happening right now, somewhere else, without you," says Murphy. "There's an enormous amount of intimacy in them, and promise, and intrusion…"

The performance saw Murphy, Pat Mahoney, Nancy Whang, Al Doyle, Gavin Russom, Tyler Pope and Matt Thornley joined by a choir, string and horn sections, as well as one-time-only special guests and many of the musicians with whom the band has worked over the years, including 'North American Scum' with guest vocals from Arcade Fire and a full performance of '45:33' featuring Reggie Watts.
