Out And About - Gigs Of The Week 28/10/12

by The 405 (Google+), 28 October 2012

Title Photo: Ben Frost, at Semibreve Festival, by Tim Boddy

It's been a good week for live reviews. We've got two festivals to show you: Semibreve in Braga which our photo editor Tim Boddy went to experience (and befriend cats, he'll tell you more) and the perennially fashionable and brilliant Nail The Cross at The Shacklewell Arms which Tom Griffiths went to snap. We've also seen some fine art rock, with Tom Jowett reporting on Grizzly Bear and Dirty Projectors and Richard Kavanagh heading to church to see Rachel Zeffira play her first solo show. We also went all 2006 with Lindsay Allen watching Hot Chip and Will Richards catching Bloc Party. And that's just the start, read on for the full list.

Semibreve Festival

Braga, Portugal

Articles by Tim Boddy

"There's a delightfully easy-going pace of life to Braga that is evident almost immediately, even before you get to explore the undulating ancient city in full. "
