Rachel Zeffira (Cat's Eyes) unveils debut album details, starts her own label

Rachel Zeffira of Cat’s Eyes is to release her debut solo album The Deserters on 10th December 2012.

Written and produced entirely by Rachel, The Deserters was recorded at Miloco's The Pool and Abbey Road Studios alongside engineer Ben Thackeray and features members of TOY as well as S.C.U.M's drummer Melissa Rigby.

The debut will accompany new record label RAF records; set up by Rachel and Cat's Eyes conspirator Faris Badwan (also of The Horrors).

The first track to be taken from the album is dreamy pop piece 'Break The Spell', available for free below.
