Sufjan Stevens to release another christmas album?

by The 405 News Team, 14 September 2012

It looks as if the torchbearer for alternative christmas music is going to release another festive album this Christmas!

A follow up to 2006's fantastic Songs for Christmas album is rumoured every year, but it seems we might be in luck this time.

Earlier this morning Sufjan Stevens' website was titled 'Christmas Is Coming', which had us all very excited, but we decided to hold off on posting anything until more details were published. However, Kitty Pryde posted this on her facebook page:

"just finished my christmas song for sufjan stevens"

Excited? We certainly are.

    by The 405

The 405 have always wanted a cartoon element to the site and when we finally decided to go for it, we knew the fabulous Anika Mottershaw was the right person for the job. Rather than picking our favourite band for Anika to draw, we made a short-list of possible bands/artists and let you, the reader, pick who should be turned into a cartoon.
