Vampire Weekend finish new album, announce release date
Vampire Weekend have updated their website, announcing that their new album will be released this May.
Their "darker and more organic" sounding third album will be released on May 6/7th.
Their last album, Contra, was released in 2010.

A press release from the band stated that the four members are "working together with the papers' permanent editors, [to] choose subject matter to be covered by the publications while curating a special section devoted to the best foods of New York City." [read more]
Jonquil is one of my favourite shades of yellow; more importantly it also happens to be the name of one my favourite bands. Jonquil are an Oxford-based tropical folk-pop band, who make beautiful music somewhere in the vein of an atmospheric Beirut.
