If you ever wanted to trek behind-the-scenes of Labyrinth, Jim Henson's David Bowie-starring cult classic film, now is your chance. A new book, titled The Ultimate Visual History was written by Paula Block and Terry Erdmann, and it comes out October 18 via Insight Editions. And it plans to take you there.

Inside the pages, there's information about David Bowie's character, Jareth the Goblin King, as well as information about other musicians who were considered for the role. Jim Henson named Michael Jackson, Prince, Freddie Mercury, Sting, Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger, Roger Daltrey, David Lee Roth, Ted Nugent, and of course, Bowie as potential candidates for the part in a handwritten note.
