"My work deals with manners such as politics and society. I often sexualize my pieces through a satirical perspective. I embody the grit of the working class. I am part of a generation that is undermined and scarred by the post-Thatcher, neoliberal society in which we operate. Coupled with my Northern mining town roots, my practice questions and challenges the prevailing political and social discourse with far reaching repercussions indicative of a climate responding to inequality which affects millions."
