Corporeality, n. 'The state of having a body or having an existence related to the body, especially as opposed to the spirit'. This series will highlight seven contemporary artists and explore their work through the common theme of the body.

Rosaria Onotri, having worked as a set designer (for theatre, ballet and opera) around Europe, finally settled in the south of France and returned to professional painting. Her figures often seem uncomfortable in their geometric landscapes, as if they know we, the viewer, are watching. Others seem to be caught in a trance, interrupted mid-daydream. She explained in an interview that "One thing that is for certain is that the human figure always imposes itself in my artwork. The representation of the human body is a perpetual question for me."
