About a month ago, Twin Peaks fans suffered a major disappointment when David Lynch pulled out of the show's upcoming new season due to a dispute with the network over money-related issues. However, it seems he's back.

Confirming the news on Facebook and Twitter, Lynch announced he will be returning to direct and co-write the highly anticipated new season: "The rumors are not what they seem ..... It is !!! Happening again."

Showtime president David Nevins confirmed to Indiewire that "David will direct the whole thing which will total more than the originally announced nine hours. Pre production starts now!"
