I can barely afford a trip overseas so it's crazy to think that people are really able to drop enough money to afford a trip to the moon. According to Elon Musk, SpaceX will take two private civilians on a trip around the moon next year after they dropped a pretty hefty deposit.

The New York Times shared that they would spend around a week inside SpaceX's Dragon 2 capsule, which would be automated. They would definitely still have to undergo some serious training for emergencies. And although it wasn't revealed how much they paid for the ride, the Falcon Heavy itself was priced at $90 million.

As of now, the pair have wished to remain anonymous, but Musk claims they aren't the Hollywood types.
