Marvel is just so down. Last year, their Hip-Hop Variants Collection re-imaged 50 comic book covers as iconic rap album covers and now, they've unleashed a whole lot more. Artists like Jeff Dekal, Risa Hulett, and Anthony Piper have turned Nova into Chance the Rapper's Coloring Book cover, while Luke Cage has been re-worked into LL Cool J on Bigger and Deffer. Jessica Jones got the Kevin Gates treatment on his cover of Islah, while Iron Man is Big Daddy Kane.

“Comics and hip-hop share a common narrative: They’re all about underdogs struggling, striving and persevering against overwhelming odds," said Marvel editor-in-chief Axel Alonso. "It’s no surprise that so many rappers have been influenced by the Marvel mythology or embraced the Marvel heroes over the decades."
