2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

Daniele: I always loved this movie. A milestone in movie making and space engineering as well. It’s not only a sci-fi movie: it’s an incredible film on human nature, and on the increasing interference of technology in our lives. And it was released 1 year before Neil Armstrong took the famous “small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind”.

Back To The Future (1985)

Andrew: I watched it for the first time when I was 7 years old and from that moment on it stuck with me: a mad scientist, a teenage guitar player and a time travelling car. Seriously, what could a child want more?

Strange Days (1995)

Gianluca: I’ve seen it tons of times. It's one of my favourite movies since I was a child, featuring epic postmodernist dialogues and amazing performances by the protagonists Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Lewis. The soundtrack is terrific too, with its typical '90s sound. I love the main theme song: 'Hardly Wait' by PJ Harvey.

There Will Be Blood (2007)

Antonio: Paul Thomas Anderson + Daniel Day-Lewis + Paul Dano + Robert Elswit + Johnny Greenwood. What else?

Inception (2010)

Andrew: This is one of my favourite movies ever. I've seen it a lot of times and the main thing that I love about the movie is the amazing powerful soundtrack by Hans Zimmer.
