Aesop Rock will provide the original score and music for upcoming Cary Murnion & Jonathan Milott film, Bushwick, which stars Dave Bautista and Brittany Snow, and depicts Brooklyn as a war zone. A press release describes the film's plot explaining that "Texas is trying to secede from the U.S., and NYC is being used as a negotiation tool. Lucy (Snow) meets Stupe (Bautista) after coming up from the subway into the military invasion of Brooklyn. Together they decide to cross the treacherous five blocks of Bushwick – littered with looters, local militias, the invading forces, and one crazy cousin - in order to get home and be reunited with Lucy’s grandmother."

"We are beyond excited to have this chance to work with Aesop Rock! We've been fans of his since his seminal EP Appleseed," Murion says. "Aesop keeps on blowing us away with his profound lyrics and music he composes for each new record, which is why when we were thinking of someone to score Bushwick we immediately thought of him."

Bushwick is expected to hit US theatres next year.
