When used properly, Twitter is such a powerful tool that can make real change in the world and give us the things that we really want in real life. As one example, a viral Twitter meme of Rihanna and Lupita Nyong'o from Paris Fashion week 2014 will now become a movie.

The photo, taken from the Miu Miu fashion show was spread around on Twitter with an entire plot dedicated to it that pit Rihanna and Lupita as scammers looking to take advantage of rich white men. The tweets eventually caught the attention of both superstars and then Selma director Ava DuVernay joined on to direct the film.
