Aziz Ansari is one of the latest Hollywood stars accused of inappropriate sexual behaviour. A recent statement that a 23-year-old woman - referred to as "Grace" - gave to babe paints an ugly portrait of the Master of None star. Grace claims he ignored her requests to slow done the physical side of their relationship -- "I was not listened to and ignored," she says. "It was by far the worst experience with a man I’ve ever had."

Grace details her date with Ansari, which consisted of a brief dinner and him taking her to his apartment afterwards. She says she felt uncomfortable and repeatedly gave clues, asking if they could slow things down. She eventually asked him if they could wait until next time to have sex to which he answered: "you mean second date?" - she answered positively, to which he promptly commented: "if I poured you another glass of wine now, would it count as our second date?" - proceeding to forcefully kiss her. Further details of the night can be found here, though be warned: it's pretty detailed.

Ansari has now commented on the allegations publicly, issuing a statement in which he says that he thought the relationship had been consensual:

"In September of last year, I met a woman at a party. We exchanged numbers. We texted back and forth and eventually went on a date. We went out to dinner, and afterwards, we ended up engaging in sexual activity, which by all indications was completely consensual.

The next day, I got a text from her saying that although ‘it may have seemed okay,’ upon further reflection, she felt uncomfortable. It was true that everything did seem okay to me, so when I heard that it was not the case for her, I was surprised and concerned. I took her words to heart and responded privately after taking the time to process what she had said.

I continue to support the movement that is happening in our culture. It is necessary and long overdue."

The accusations against Ansari emerge a mere week after James Franco was formally accused of sexual misconduct by five women, which indicates that housecleaning at Hollywood is far from being over.
