Mary Harron (of American Psycho fame) has a new film that will begin trying to achieve sales later this month at Cannes by Bankside Films, Deadline Hollywood says.

Dali Land will feature Ben Kingsley as the flamboyantly eccentric surrealist artist Salvador Dali in 1973, charting the lead up to his marriage to the domineering Gala (Lesley Manville) who was also his muse.

The narrative is primarily driven by Dali's association with a young art enthusiast named James (Frank Dillane), who helps him get shows together, with Tim Roth also making an appearance as Captain Moore, Dali's secretary and right-hand man.

Dali Land is Harron's latest feature after Charlie Says, about the Manson Family, with Matt Smith as Charles Manson.

Stay tuned to The 405 for more on this as we hear it.
