Last month, BET raked in the ratings with their mini-series on the life and times of New Edition. And now, the network is already onto their next idea and that one involves Nas.

They've reportedly ordered a new pilot titled Street Dreams, which will track "the ascent of Nas, a young man from the Queensbridge projects who will go on to become a famous rapper, as he evolves from young man to crack dealer to rapper to adult."

Nas will executive produce the project, which will be directed by The Wackness filmmaker, Jonathon Levine.
