New Line Cinema is zeroing in on the others to play the Losers' Club in the second chapter of the Stephen King horror blockbuster It, after Jessica Chastain has officially come aboard. Variety reports that Bill Hader and James McAvoy are in talks to join the production.

Sources are stressing that negotiations are still early, McAvoy is reportedly in talks to play Bill (Jaeden Lieberher in the first film), and Hader is reportedly in the running for the role of Richie (Finn Wolfhard in the first film).

Andy Muschietti is returning to the director's seat with Gary Dauberman as scribe. Flashback sequences with the original cast returning are being looked at, and Bill Skarsgård will reportedly be returning as Pennywise.

It: Chapter 2 is slated for a Sep. 6, 2019 release. Production is expected to begin this summer
